Veneer Matching Techniques
The development of veneer matching techniques, the veneer pattern unit preparation and the application of laser cutting were introduced The paper was mainly targeted at the rise of medieval European veneer matching techniques. Japanese traditional crafts parquetry, the rist of the Russian parquet, the technology of punch cutting and laser cutting. The advantage and technical barriers among those techniques were compared and analyzed. The future development of the veneer pattern unit preparations of the veneer matching techniques was inferred by the authors.
