Installation tip for the sliding wood barn door

1) the flush wood barn door is recommended to have at least 2" wider than the finished door opening to properly overlap each side for privacy

2) You must determine if you need a mounting board prior to do any installation. Due to many overlaping factors such as location of wall studs, the weight of barn doors and the various types of trim, we recommend using a mounting board in all situations. Track must be installed into solid blocking or head casing.
